SRQG supports QOV by making blocks and quilts to be presented to veterans. Some members also provide long arming services for quilt tops to the local QOV chapter.

 

In 2025, the Guild will made blocks and finished five unique quilts.  The quilts were presented to Veterans at a ceremony on November 13, 2025.   The event was at the chapel of United Methodist Church and was followed by a lovely reception.

On November 9, 2020, fourteen veterans were honored at a Quilts of Valor Ceremony. The veterans were each "wrapped" with a Quilt of Valor made by members of our guild. This is the highest honor a civilian can bestow on a veteran or someone serving in the military, and we're so happy that we are able to show them in our own way how grateful we are for their service.
